- Choosing a
therapist - In order to chose a therapist it's
important to consider a few things, is the therapist
qualified - this is a bit of a minefield here as some of
the best healers I know have no 'qualification' from an
association or school and sometimes people having been to
schools etc. are not as knowledged as you would expect.
Are they insured - Insurance is available for all types
of therapists - ask them. Basically I think you have to
listen to peoples recommendations and experiences in
order to find a good therapist. Call them and have a chat
- they shouldn't mind at all, this is a good way to judge
how enthusiastic & knowledgeable they are about their
therapy and if you feel comfortable with them then go
ahead.
- Colour Therapy
- Lots of versions of colour therapy exist, one of the
most well known is Aura-Soma those glass bottles with different
coloured liquids inside made from natural products, but

- Crystal Healing -
Basically involves the use of different crystals either
worn or used in a 'layout' depending on what condition or
feeling is to be helped or promoted. Different crystals
have different properties and relate to people in
different ways so caution and awareness should be used
whenever using them especially if you are suggesting to
others.
- Hopi ear candles
- Well worth an experiment, It's good to have someone to
help. Basically follow the instructions provided - insert
the candle into your ear, light it let it burn down to
the marker and remove. the result is a great feeling of
relaxation and awareness which always you to drift away -
until your friend hassles you for there turn with the
candles!
- Massage - Massage is an ancient healing
technique, we all benefit from human touch and whether or
not we have aches and pains we will feel great after a
massage, it can be preventative maintenance - whens the
last time you treated yourself!
- Reiki - Reiki
is a form of energy healing, this method was shared with
us a long time ago and is performed by the placement of
hands and the use of healing symbols.
